Shimla located in lesser Himalayas was the summer capital of British India, there after used to be capital of Punjab and latter after the creation of the hill state of Himachal Pradesh is the capital of Himachal since then, hence it has seen a lot of development, however the town is rich in history and heritage and to a traveller it reflects in the architecture of the town, the hill sides are lined with Victorian buildings from 19th and early 20th Century, a tour to the Vice Regal Lodge (Also Known as the Indian Institute of Advance Studies) is like icing on the cake, witness to the discussions of partition of India was first of its kind building and was the most technologically advanced structure of its time. The Famous Ridge of Shimla Offers pristine view of the Himalayan Ranges, a lesser know fact about The Ridge is that it also is a water tank which provides water to Main Shimla Town. The Mall Road give a feel of a London Streets on quite evening stroll. The itinerary also includes, Jakhu Hill, other temples and other places of interest in and around Shimla, if you need an escort that too can be provided at an additional cost.

Day One: Chandigarh – Shimla
Pick up from Chandigarh Railway Station or Airport and Transfer to Shimla, on the way halt for refreshments. The drive takes around 4 hours which may vary subjected to traffic conditions. After crossing Pinjore the road hits the hills and you will feel the difference in the temperature right from there. As we climb towards Shimla you can feel a significant difference in the air temperature which can be 20 Degrees lesser than what you were experiencing in the plains. Upon arrival in Shimla, check in to the hotel, the evening you can spend on the Mall Road of Shimla. Overnight Stay at Shimla Hotel.
Day Two: Local Shimla Sightseeing (4 to 6 Hours)
After breakfast at the hotel we take you on a specialised local tour of Shimla we cover some historic and religious places in this tour, the tour starts with a visit to Jakhu Temple which is a major attraction of Shimla Town, also being the highest point of Shimla town also boasts a 108 Feet Tall Statue of Lord Hanuman which is now a major land Mark of the town, after receiving the Blessings from the Lord Hanuman we head towards a heritage side of the town and head towards the Vice Regal Lodge, the Lodge is a massive structure built in Neo Gothic Victorian Architecture Style between 1884 and 1889 a small tour in side the Building gives you a glimpse into its rich heritage and pre independence history of India. The Structure is surrounded by gardens you can take a walk around the structure where gardens towards the west of the building has a Sun Dial and offers panoramic views of Valleys and Himalayan Ranges at a Distance. After Vice Regal Lodge visit the adjoining birds park which is home to some rare Himalayan Pheasants and the state bird of Himachal Pradesh “Monal” from here we take you another temple Sankat Mochan, which is again dedicated to Lord Hanuman and offers beautiful view of Shimla Town, after this visit we head back to the Hotel, rest of the evening is at leisure and you can spend time on the Mall Road, visit Kali Bari Temple via Scandal Point, Tibetan Market, The Ridge, Christ Church, Lakkar Bazar. Day Three: Shimla – Kufri – Naldera – Shimla (5 to 7 hours)
After breakfast we head towards Winter Sports Destination of Shimla the small station of Kufri, a popular destination in Winters is at almost 9000 feet above sea level, during the rest of the season one can visit the Chini Bungalow and Himalayan Zoo. A horse ride can also be opted to go to Mahasu Peak which offers panoramic views of Himlayan Ranges at a Distance, there are other activities as well that one can indulge into there are adventure and fun parks around this area and you can enjoy activities like zip line, Burma bridge, commando nets, valley crossing etc. After fun filled time at Kufri we head towards Naldera which is a famous golf course is a picturesque place surrounded by pine forest a walk around the golf course is a peaceful and calm experience. Latter return to the Hotel, evening free at leisure, you can spend the rest of time on the Mall Road and then head back to the hotel, overnight at the hotel.
Day Four: Shimla – Chandigarh (4 Hours, 120 Kms)
After breakfast check out from the Hotel and board the cab to embark upon the final trip of our 3 Night Shimla tour. The cab will drop you at Chandigarh Airport/Railway Station. The tour ends with drop in Chandigarh.
